The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

     If someone you know is struggling with unemployment this is an amazing film to rent for them.  

     Based upon the true story of a genius, Chris Gardner who finds himself a single dad, homeless and without a job, basically as far down as a person can get in American society.  Living on the streets, he ultimately gets back on his feet and climbs to the top of the heap as owner of his own firm in 1980s San Francisco.  Smith's own son plays his son in this film. The scene where father and son have to sleep in a public bathroom is one of the all time most memorably haunting scenes in cinema history.

 Chris Gardner is actually someone who is smart. He is support his family by selling the bone density scanner, a highly sophisticated instrument but only considered a luxury for the world of health, somany doctors and hospitals that refuse to buy. This makes He isdifficult to get money to support his family.

 

      Chris's life became more difficult when his wife left him and He ismust leave his home because He is could not afford the rentanymore. After that Chris and his son have to live on the streets as he sells the machines, and during that time He is also tried to apply for a job as a stockbroker. Only one person received within 6months, and Chris must contend with many people.



      Heartwarming and gut wrenching, you'll be cheering in the end! Positive thing that we can get from this movie is "Do not ever give up to achieve your dreams. There is always a result for your hardwork sooner or later "
